Brief History
MSI is a small business, started in 1972 as a sandblasting contractor. Recognizing the need for a dependable supplier for this industry, MSI expanded into the supply business in 1980, and into equipment rental in 1981. In 1999 we moved to our current location at 697 Ahua Street. We have a 2500 square foot showroom and 22,000 ft of warehouse and shop area.

Inventory
MSI maintains the largest fleet of large portable air compressors in the state! We have many specialized items found nowhere else, including large vacuum machines, sandblasting equipment, ventilation equipment, dust collectors, water blasters, welding equipment, pumps and many more. Abrasive inventory includes Garnet, Kleenblast (Copper Slag), Aluminum Oxide, Silicon Carbide, Steel Shot & Grit, Glass Bead, Walnut Shell, Armex (Bicarbonate of Soda), Starblast, and Plastic Blast Media. We also have sandblast and duct hoses from 2 mm to 48 inches. Couplers & Fittings, Air and Fluid Filters, Regulators, Dryers, Air Receivers and repair parts for virtually all sandblasting equipment.

Product Lines
MSI is a distributor for many product lines including Sullair air compressors, Mi-T-M pressure washers, Murphy switchgages and Donaldson filters. We stock over 300 tons of abrasives for abrasive blasting of everything from navy ships to fine glassware and dental appliances.

Rental Equipment
Rental equipment includes Air Compressors up to 1600 CFM, Air Receivers, Filters & Dryers, Open and Recovery type Sandblasting Equipment, Blastrac Equipment, Generators to 190KW, Scarifiers, Dust Collectors, Dehumidifiers, Lighting, Breathing Air Systems, Generators, Pressure Washers, Pumps, Welders, Tanks, and Water Reclaimation Systems.

Service and Repair
We repair many kinds of electric, gas and diesel powered equipment from 1 HP Electric through 1600 CFM Diesel. We have an abrasive blasting room where we sandblast wood and glass signs, hot rod parts, antiques, motor cycle frames and a variety of industrial items.

Clients
Our customer base includes Pearl Harbor and other government agencies, contractors, utilities, laboratories, schools, artists and retail customers. We have customers throughout the pacific islands and even in Japan.

MSI is located in beautiful downtown Mapunapuna on Oahu, Hawaii. Centrally located within 10 minutes of the Honolulu International Airport, Pearl Harbor, Hickam AFB, Fort Shafter and Downtown Honolulu.
